With the faith of tiny seeds, many community gardens have sprouted up as a renewable commodity that serves those in need.
With the help and generosity of community partners of Osborn Neighborhood Alliance,
each year the Osborn area is now in full bloom again.
The ONA commitment to the community is much like the strength of a tree. Through planning to action ONA continues to grow as a vital portion of Northeast Detroit's ecosystem.
Because of the partnerships and collaboration with policymakers the Osborn Community is a safer place to live, work, and play!
The Joanne Greenway project began in 2018. Formerly a vacant lot the space has been repurposed specifically to grow trees. The project provides work opportunities for residents and ecosystem education opportunities for youth.
